Entry Fees:  £1.50 per class.    Five rosettes plus a trophy and prize in each class.
All entries on the day only.   NO REFUNDS. Make six entries and get one FREE.   Goody bag to first 30 entrants on the day
Entries from 11am, judging at noon.   Classes marked * - rosettes to all entries

 

RING ONE:   Pedigrees.  1. AV Puppy 6-12 months / 2. AV Yearling 12 – 24 months / 3. AV Sporting / 4. AV Non-Sporting (except pastoral)/ 5. AV Pastoral
6. AV Veteran (7 yrs +) / 6a AV Open -  followed by BEST PEDIGREE IN SHOW for unbeaten dogs classes 1 - 6a and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
Not before 2pm : RING ONE (continued):  Novelties.  7. Special Retrieve / 8. Best Border Collie / 9. Best Mover / 10. Best Conditioned Pedigree /
11. Best Rescue (from a charity, plus special to highest place PPBC dog)  / 12.* Child Handler (12 yrs & under) / 13. Matched Brace

 

RING TWO: Crossbreds.   14.Best Crossbred Puppy 6-12 months / 15. Best Crossbred Bitch / 16.Best Crossbred Dog / 17. Best Condition Crossbred
18. Best Short Coat / 19. Best Long Coat / 20. Best Wirecoat  / 21. Best Veteran Crossbred (7 years plus)
Not before 2pm : Novelties.  22. *Fancy Dress / 23. Best Trick / 24.Best Biscuit Catcher / 25.Best Talker / 26. Mis-matched Brace / 27. Happiest Dog
28. Judge’s Choice  - followed by BEST NOVELTY IN SHOW – chosen from winners of classes 7 - 28

 

RING THREE: Obedience.  Starts at noon.  Classes will run concurrently.  Stays at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.  Results and prize giving at 3.15pm in ring.
 A) Starters. Dogs never placed 1st – 3rd in any obedience class. / B)  Triers . Dogs not to have won in obedience at any open show / C) Improvers . All welcome

 

Please note: No puppies under six months of age may take part in the show.  No bitches in season please.   
Refreshments and various stalls will be found on the showground.
Look out for our Grand Tombola – donations of prizes will be gratefully received. 
Donations of your unwanted or second hand dog related items can be sold to raise funds for border collie welfare.
