The Small Print

The following applies to all entrants, spectators and members of the public entering the showground.  Please note this is private property and there is no right of entry.  The organisers and staff may refuse entry without stating a reason.

These are family shows and bad behaviour or language will not be tolerated.  ‘Nuff said.

No colts or stallions admitted, except for well behaved yearlings.

DO

  • Treat others and animals with respect

  • Leave dogs at home during horse shows

  • Keep horses/ponies/children under strict control at all times

  • Accept the decisions of judges as final.  They are chosen for their all round knowledge and may not know your breed/type in detail.  Those seeking expert judges should attend breed or country shows

DO NOT

  • Tie horses/ponies to fences or gates but you may tie to vehicles or trees if safe to do so

  • Drop litter – PLEASE

  • Enter classes for which you are not sufficiently experienced.  Learn to jump or canter at home first

Please note:

  • No refunds will be given – class tickets may be used at future shows

  • Help is always needed to clear up after shows.  Volunteers offering an hour of their time to help will be given free entries at a future show.

  • The landowners, organisers, judges and staff cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury, however it occurs.  Please take care of your belongings – thieves abound.

  • Ensure that the areas in which you walk or ride are safe – rabbit holes can appear overnight.

FINALLY – please note that these shows are not  for pot hunters.  If you are an experienced rider or handler with a country standard horse or pony, please attend shows more suited to that standard.  Thank you.
